Byron C. Warinner passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at his home on Bainbridge Island. He was 77.

He was born on June 23, 1937 in Wyoming. As an adult, Byron worked hard in places ranging from coal mines to university campuses, ultimately becoming a well-respected professional, husband and father. As a pioneer in the application of computer technology, Byron excelled at work, managing impressive projects ranging from national defense missile programs to the space station.

A memorial service to celebrate Byron’s life will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 9 at Grace Episcopal Church, 8595 NE Day Road.
