Rudolph ‘Rudy’ Delphin Thomas
Rudolph “Rudy” Delphin Thomas, 77, died April 9 at his Poulsbo home.
He was born on June 17, 1932, in Louisville, Ky., to Clarence Stanislaus Thomas and Mary Ada Norris Thomas. Rudy worked as an electrical engineer Westinghouse Electric for 38 years before retiring in 1992.
He is survived by: wife Rose Marie Thomas; children Rudolph Delphin Thomas Jr. (Catriona) of Charlottesville, Va., Joseph Hayden Thomas (Shannon) of Portland, Ore.; John Quincy Thomas (Paula) of San Diego, Calif., Matthew Hummel Thomas (Cristina) of Tacoma, Bridget Mary Brewer (Kevin) of Lynnwood, Wash., Marie Julia Thomas of Martigues, France; brother Clarence “Nick” Stanislaus Thomas Jr. (Ruth) of Louisville; and 18 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and daughters Mary Pat and Margaret Ann.
A service will be held April 16 at 11 a.m. at St. Olaf, followed by a church reception and interment at Mountainview Cemetery in Poulsbo.
