Grace M. Treat, age 94

      Grace M. Treat, formerly of Minot, ND, died June 30. She was born to Guy R. and Hilda Rosenquist Van Sickle on April 4, 1918 in Minot, ND. She graduated high school there and got a BA from Minot Teachers College in 1940. She taught a few years but had to discontinue because of illness.

      In 1948 she went to live in Greeley, CO, the next year going to Denver where she met her husband, Walter O. Treat and where their daughter, Lori, was born.

      She returned with her daughter to Minot and worked for several years at Minot Air Force Base.

      Grace moved to Bainbridge Island, WA in 2001 to live near her daughter Lori Rogstad and family.

      Memorial services were held at Wyatt House on July 5. She was cremated and her remains will be buried at Rosehill Cemetery in Minot.

      Grace is survived by her daughter, Lori Rogstad; granddaughter Rhiannon Rogstad; grandson Emil B. Rogstad; three great grandchildren, Miles and Søren Eoff, and David Rogstad; and four brothers, Neil, Harry, Ross and Earl.
