The Bainbridge Island Little League recently announced the members of its All-Star baseball and softball teams:
Boys All-Star Baseball teams
Members of the 11 to12-year-old All-Star team are Tanner Bogardus, Tyler Campbell, Colin Feldtman, Nick Fling, Gary French, Willy Greene, Michael Heald, Peter Leslie, Sam McAllister, Kauika Peleti, Kyle Petheram, Cory Scanncella and Michael Walsh. Don French will again serve as the team’s manager, with assistance from Dick Henshaw.
The 10-year-old Gold team includes Austin Clement, Michael John Cox, Spencer Eager, Chandler Foster, Michael Kilbane, Ian Layton, Sam Martin, Kevin McCormick, Jackson McEwan, Jeremie Oliver, Kyle Schneider, Jack Seidl and Rolf Toren. John Martin will manage the team, with Mike Seidl and Mark Schneider serving as coaches.
The 9- to 10-year-old Blue team consists of Zach Brewer, Trevor Brown, Ryan Burris, Phoenix Glendenning, Jake Hujar, Cameron Kaminski, Jacob London, Mitchell Main, Cole Rabinowitz, Noah Sawusch, Nolan Schuetz, Dylan Skeffington, Jordan Wagner and Casey Zimmerman. John Kaminski is the manager, assisted by Tom Hujar and Brian Shimmin.
Girls All-Star Softball teams
The 13 to 14-year-old Junior All Star team is Stephanie Wagner, Brett Waggoner, Kayla Swerin, Ariel Smith, Kelsey Middleton, Meika Monroe, Jacqui Menalia, Tabitha Mabrey, Molly Dwyer, Caitlin Dietz, Chelsea Baker, Kelcee Azure, and Marci Morford. The manager is Dallas Baker, and the coach is Kevin Dwyer.
The 11- to 12-year-old All Stars are Sarah Wettleson, Hillary Grant, Claire Palay, Anna Canfield, Hannah Crichton, Lindsay Willmann, Ariel Hujar, Ryan Biggers, Cara Thompson, Kaitlin Gaspich, Chelsea Kakela, Jessica Molskness, and Brittany Wisner. The manager is Frank Willmann, the coaches are Joe Wettleson and Scott Boynton.
Members of the 9- to 10-year old All-Star team are Hayley Baker, Jenny Whealdon, Micaela Rish, Laura Chipman, Bryn Kepler, Josephine Wallace, Jaclyn Biggers, Jeanette Swanson, Colleen Gruber, Megan Wears, Kaitlin McCormick, Mackenzie Teddy and Claire Nitsche. The manager is Ray Biggers and the coach is Bruce Nitsche.

***Cobbers spear Sharks in twinbill
The Cobb 15U baseball team swept Sunday’s doubleheader from the South Sound Sharks.
Cobb won the opener 12-1 in five innings as Barret Kanyer threw a two-hitter and went went 4 for 4 with a double and two RBIs. Kevin Roach added four RBIs with a single and double.
Jeremy Ellison allowed just three hits in an 11-2 rout in the nightcap. Jonathon Rowan, Matt Frazee and Roach all had two hits, and the trio scored five runs and drove in six.
It was a different story on Saturday as the team gave up three first-inning runs to visiting Dow and managed just four hits in a 3-2 loss. Frazee had two singles and scored both runs.
