Tickets are on sale for the annual fundraiser of the Bainbridge Island Historical Museum.

The festive and informative event will feature former Secretary of State Ralph Munro sharing the fascinating history of the numerous docks and communities that grew up along the island’s shore. Descended from the pioneer Munro family, Munro has a vast knowledge of the island’s history and stories.

Each passenger will receive an informative map of the 31 Bainbridge steamer landings that surrounded the Island with a description of the early 1900s settlements. Cruisers will also enjoy a delicious box lunch from the deck of the historic craft, which dates from the late 1890s. There will be a no-host bar.

The tour will depart from the city dock at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 17 and return at 6 p.m.

Tickets are $125 ($100 for members of the Bainbridge Island Historical Museum) and are available at 206-842-2773 and www.bainbridgehistory.org.

Early reservations are recommended for this popular event.
