The Bainbridge Island Genealogical Society will meet at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 17 at the LDS church on Bainbridge Island, 8677 Madison Ave.

Mary Kircher Roddy, a genealogist, lecturer and writer, will be speaking on “A Decree of (Temporary) Divorce – My Life Without Ancestry.com.”

The meeting is free to members; a $5 donation is suggested for nonmembers.
