Island Center Hall will host a sock hop and ice cream social on Saturday, July 13.

Dancers will get together for an evening of old-fashioned fun and frolic with a night of swing, oldies and goldies. Dancers are welcome to dress for the ‘50s era.

A swing workshop mixer is 7:30 to 8:15 p.m. and is free with admission to the dance. The dance to DJ music is 8:15 to 10 p.m.; singles and couples, adults and teens welcome. Bring your favorite ice cream and/or toppings to share. Admission is $10 at the door.
