Friday’s expected matchup between the Bainbridge Spartans and the Seattle Prep Panthers in girls varsity fastpitch softball has been postponed due to poor field conditions.

Continued wet weather — including a gully-washer overnight Thursday — prompted the Spartans to call off the March 24 home matchup.

The game will be played later at a date to be determined.

It was the third cancelation this week for the Spartans.

Monday’s game against Shorewood, and Wednesday’s game against Bishop Blanchet, were also rescheduled due to field conditions.
