Bainbridge parks officials will meet this week to get a presentation on Waypoint Woods from the Bainbridge Island Parks Foundation.

The board of the Bainbridge Island Metropolitan Park & Recreation District will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 20 at Strawberry Hill Center, 7666 NE High School Road.

Also on the agenda: the acceptance of a trail easement from the city of Bainbridge Island for the trail near IslandWood.

Parks commissioners will also review a lease with the Seattle Yacht Club for the boating facility on Hidden Cove.

Officials will also talk about the purchase of a passenger van that can be used to carry disabled riders.
