Bainbridge blotter | Time for a debit card theft

SATURDAY, APRIL 1

12:15 p.m. A woman in the 13800 block of Manzanita Lane Northeast said a package containing a blouse from Banana Republic was stolen from her mailbox.

The receipt was left behind in the mailbox.

FRIDAY, MARCH 31

4:41 p.m. A 41-year-old islander said his son had left his lime green, specialized mountain bike in front of Sonoji Sakai Intermediate School and it was stolen.

The bike, valued at $400, was left in the bike rack but not locked. It was gone when the boy went to retrieve it.

TUESDAY, MARCH 28

10:45 a.m. A 59-year-old Bainbridge man said someone had used his Seattle Metropolitan Credit Union debit card number to buy a watch from Luxembourg that cost $14,757.
