Blueberries are the topic at next gathering of the Bainbridge Island Fruit Club

The Bainbridge Island Fruit Club’s June meeting is all about blueberries.

The club welcomes Pam Sinclair as its guest speaker for the next meeting, coming at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 15 at the Bainbridge Grange Hall (10340 Madison Ave. NE).

Sinclair will give an overview of growing blueberries; how to select, grow (soils, pH, watering, fertilizing, pruning, etc.) and the common problems blueberry growers face.
