Mathias Klous Jr. and Deborah White, formerly from Bainbridge Island, would like to announce the marriage of their daughter Elizabeth Rose Klous to Preston Blaine Fitzgerald Jr., son of Preston and Jane Fitzgerald from Charleston, South Carolina.

The couple will be married July 15, 2017 at Kerloo Cellars in Seattle with the bride’s uncle, John White, also from Bainbridge Island, officiating.

The couple met in Washington, D.C. and currently reside in Vienna, Virginia where they are the primary caregivers of a very large cat.

The groom, who prefers to use his middle name, is originally from Charleston, S.C. He moved to Virginia after graduating from the Culinary Institute of America. The bride grew up on Bainbridge Island and moved to Washington, D.C. in 2013.

The couple plan on honeymooning in Vancouver, B.C. after which they will return to their rather large cat.
