Community members can help Bainbridge Island with feedback on a new cyclist and pedestrian bridge planned for Highway 305.
The first in a series, a project meeting will be held from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 26 at city hall.
This proposed bridge — spanning from Knechtel Way to John Nelson Lane — will connect with the Sound to Olympic Trail, midway between Winslow Way and High School Road. City officials aim to create a safe way for pedestrians and cyclists to cross the island’s highway.
At next week’s meeting, community members will have the opportunity to learn about the bridge, discuss the design, and give their initial response.
