To the editor:
Someone needs to get their priorities in order. We need a bike bridge on Bainbridge Island, but not that one!
The place we need it is at Agate Passage, the most dangerous stretch of highway on the island.
Three million dollars could build a bike lane suspended from the side of the existing bridge by cables. The thick concrete sidewalk could be removed to compensate for the extra weight.
If we’re going to the spend money, let’s do it where it really matters.
