To the editor:

We plan to vote for Joe Deets for city council in the November election. His community involvement, environmental focus, strong family values and his ability to work with others lead us to the conclusion that he would be an excellent council member.

We know Joe has good qualifications to represent us on the city council, but that is not the only reason we plan to vote for him. Facts, the comprehensive plan and the points of view presented from his constituency will be his guide. He will arrive at every meeting well prepared to represent us responsibly.

Lastly, we highly appreciate Joe’s listening skills and believe that he will interact well with other council members.
