Strong winds overnight Monday have left nearly 12,000 customers of Puget Sound Energy without power.
Three neighborhoods on Bainbridge Island, all on the north end, have been without power since roughly 4 a.m. Tuesday. Those outages affect approximately 65 homes, according to PSE.
Larger outages — with more than 500 homes without power, including the neighborhoods around North Kitsap High School — were also reported early Tuesday in Poulsbo.
Approximately 26 PSE customers in Port Orchard also had their electricity out Tuesday morning, according to PSE.
Most of the outages have been caused by falling branches and trees.
