This week’s adoptable pets are Henry and Lucy.

For adoption through PAWS:

Henry is a 2-year-old shorthaired tabby with white on his face, chest, feet and belly.

He is a very friendly cat that gets along with people and other cats. He came in to PAWS after being an unclaimed stray in Ocean Shores.

Come meet him at the PAWS Pleasant Beach adoption center, open 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

For adoption through Kitsap Humane Society:

Meet Lucy! She is a lovely lab/pit mix who is about 8 years old.

This sweet pup loves to be out in the sunshine and take in all the sights and smells of the world, so would love a home where she can get lots of supervised outdoor time. Lucy walks well on a leash, so would be a great hiking buddy. After a long day, she would love to snuggle up with her favorite people, and get all the love and attention that she deserves.

This great dog is looking for a home with no kitties (too fun to chase) and with no children under the age of 6, as they can be a little overwhelming for her.

Lucy came in with a bit of hair-loss and is on treatment to ensure her hair grows back healthy. Kitsap Humane Society’s vet team will be happy to talk with you further about keeping Lucy looking and feeling her best.
