Bainbridge Island will get a break from the rain this weekend.
But after that, get set for a wet week — including a rainy Thanksgiving Day.
That’s the latest forecast from the National Weather Service in Seattle.
This weekend’s weather for the Rock is expected to be partly sunny on Saturday, with a high temperature near 50 degrees.
The rain has a 30 percent chance of returning come Saturday night, mostly after 10 p.m. The temperature is expected to drop to a low around 38.
On Sunday, there will be more rain with a high near 49. The chance of rain is 80 percent, and up to a half of an inch possible.
Shattered showers are forecast for Sunday night, leading into a week where Bainbridge should see rain on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday … you get the idea. Showers are expected to be heaviest on Tuesday.
