Washington State Ferries is advising travelers at the Bainbridge Island Ferry Terminal that there is an estimated one-hour wait for drivers departing Bainbridge.

The advisory was issued just before noon Monday, Jan. 15.

The delay is due to an emergency medical transport with a critical patient that required the 11:30 a.m. sailing from Bainbridge to leave early.
