Isaac Cole and Bob Burquist from Grindline Skateparks paint over graffiti Tuesday at the Bainbridge skatepark.

The Seattle-based company built the skatepark at Strawberry Hill Park in 2001, and employees from Grindline were busy this week restoring the popular concrete attraction to its former beauty.

The skatepark will remain closed until the refurbishment project is complete, park officials said.
