Incredible turnout at Float & Film | Letter to the editor

To the editor:

This past Saturday our junior Class of 2019 from Bainbridge High School held a Float & Film event at the Bainbridge Aquatic Center to raise money for the class.

Thanks to the incredible turnout and community support, we were able to make a profit of $660!

We want to extend a warm thank you to all of those who attended and supported our class by staying for the event or purchasing raffle tickets. We also want to thank these generous, local businesses who donated items towards our raffle: Churchmouse Yarns & Teas, Eagle Harbor Bookstore, Island Rock Gym, Island Cool, Ace Hardware, Covet Boutique, Plate & Pint, Treehouse Cafe, Paws & Fins, Bainbridge Cinemas, and Blackbird Bakery. Last but not a least, a very special thank you to Mora Ice Creamery for providing us with delicious ice cream for our Float & Film!

We hope all of you that attended the Float & Film had a fun time and we are so happy you were able to come!

We look forward to seeing you at our next class fundraiser: a Casa Rojas Express Takeover from 3:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, May 4.

Thank you again for being such a supportive community and for helping us students in our endeavors!
