SEATTLE – Roosevelt found itself on the unfortunate end of a Big Mac Attack in their matchup last week against Bainbridge High in girls varsity lacrosse.
The not-so-secret sauce was the scoring of Mackenzie Chapman, who fired in an impressive seven goals in the 16-4 Spartan win at Lower Woodland Park.
The Spartan squad cooked up plenty of offense during the contest, with six other players scoring in the win.
Kendall Havill added contributed three goals, one assist and one ground ball, while Abby Reibsamen got two to go.
Eleanor King, Eleanor Collins, Eva Genkinger and Maggie Sweeney each scored a goal.
Sweeney also played the part of Ms. Dish during the evening, and finished with six assists. She also had a ground ball and six draws.
Chapman, the Spartans’ scoring leader, also had two assists and three draws.
BHS goalie Thuy Ortiz was outstanding in the net, with four saves on eight shots on goal for a save percentage of 50 percent.
