SEATTLE – Bainbridge sent 19 hitters to the plate and scored 13 runs in the first inning on their way to a 19-3, three inning run-rule varrsity fastpitch softball win over Chief Sealth.
Malia Peato and Abby Sullivan led the Bainbridge offense with three RBIs, with Morgan Lassoff reaching base and scoring four times on a walk and three singles.
Lassoff also drove in a pair of runs in the Metro matchup at the Southwest Athletic Complex.
Sara Colley, Georgia Wood and Miranda Grogger each pitched an inning for Bainbridge, with Wood picking up the win, her first of the season.
