Bainbridge High School’s spring musical, “Little Shop of Horrors,” continues at 7:30 p.m. April 27-28 and May 3-5 in the LGI Room.

“Little Shop of Horrors” — by composer Alan Menken and writer Howard Ashman — is a comedy horror rock musical about a hapless florist shop worker who raises a plant that feeds on human blood.

The musical is based on Roger Corman’s low-budget, 1960 black comedy film of the same name. The music, composed by Menken in the style of early 1960s rock’n’roll, doo-wop and early Motown, includes several well-known tunes, including the title song, “Skid Row (Downtown),” “Somewhere That’s Green” and “Suddenly, Seymour.”

The Bainbridge High School production is directed by drama teacher and singer Barbara Hume. Co-music directors are Dinah Satterwhite and Brandon Peck, who also alternate playing the piano for the shows.

The cast includes Taylor Hebert (Crystal/female trio), Lesley Lemon (Ronnette/female trio), Izzy Magrini (Chiffon/female trio), Arie Thompson (Seymour), Rowan Lanning (Audrey), Garrett Little (Mr. Mushnik), Dylan Lehotsky (Orin the dentist, and voice of God), Christina Goessman (Mrs. Luce and Customer), Emma Marshall (Audrey Understudy, Skid Row Person and Female Chorus), Tyler Dawson (Skid Row Person and Bernstein), Eli Pitasky (Skid Row Person and Audrey II Voice), Charlie Beckett (Skid Row Person, Patrick Martin and Radio Interviewer), Sara Reisdorf (Skid Row Person, Female Chorus and Snip Snap Interviewer), Katey Hamlin (Skid Row Person, Female Chorus and Radio Announcer), Isabelle Ranson (Skid Row Person and Female Chorus) and Kat Zommers (Skid Row Person and Female Chorus).

Tickets are available at the door; $7 for students/seniors, $10 for adults.
