Washington State Ferries is advising travelers on the Bainbridge Island-Seattle route that drivers face an estimated one-hour wait for a ferry to the island.

The travel advisory was issued just before 12:30 p.m. Friday, July 7.

The delay is due to heavy vehicle traffic boarding the vessels in Seattle, according to WSF.
