To the editor:

I want the city to pay all damage claims for police wrongdoing. Body cams assure that will be done.

Not requiring mandatory police body cams means that individuals who are the victims of police misconduct, must personally pay for the misconduct. To make a positive change and protect the citizens that the police are sworn to serve, we need to shift the cost from the individual to the city, so bad officers will be let go and victims will be made financially whole.

City council: Stop stalling because of fear of liability. Protect us by requiring mandatory police body cams.

The thought just flashed through my head: Does this make me a target of the BIPD or a campaign for good officers?
