Lawn chairs, food trucks, dogs milling about: There’s no better picture of community. Sounds of Summer, the Bainbridge Island Metro Park & Recreation District’s Wednesday concert series, is back with local bang next week, as blues artist Chebon Tiger heads to Battle Point Park.

The free concert is 7 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 6.

Next up — on July 13 — is the Joey Jewel Sinatra Tribute.

Nick Drummond of The Senate brings alt-folk on July 20, followed by CMT award winner Chance McKinney and his industrialized country on July 27. Last but not least is Kitsap’s favorite party band, Planet Groove, on Aug. 3.
