Marjorie (Gray) Hadden passed away on August 27, 2018, in Seattle, Washington. She was born on March 3, 1925, to Spencer and Beatrice Gray of Seattle. Her schooling was mainly in Seattle. She attended I.I. Stevens Grade School, graduated from Garfield High School in 1943, and attended the University of Washington where she was affiliated with Sigma Kappa Sorority. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree and teaching certificate from Western Washington University in Bellingham, Washington.
In 1949 she married Dr. George N. Hadden, co-founder of Seattle Radiologists, who preceded her in death in 1998. The family lived on Bainbridge Island from 1971 until 2011.
She is survived by children David (Cindy) Hadden of Lake Forest Park, Judith (Ed) Jones of Everett, and Daniel Hadden of Bainbridge Island; three grandchildren, Jessica (Alex) Blakesley, Benjamin (Sara) Hadden, and Holly Jones; and two great-grandchildren.
At Marjorie’s request, there will be no memorial service. There will be a family gathering at a later time in the Interium at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church on Bainbridge Island. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
