A flock of freaks.
A crazy collection of characters — some spooky, some silly — again converged on Winslow Way Wednesday for the annual downtown Bainbridge trick-or-treat event.
The yearly community event, presented by the Bainbridge Island Downtown Association, again drew participants from around the island. Several blocks’ worth of Winslow Way was closed to traffic and many businesses stayed open to dish out sweets to costumed revelers in one of the island’s most beloved cultural events.
