Bainbridge Island will be blanketed by fog this weekend, according to the latest forecast from the National Weather Service in Seattle.
But the soup should give way to sun on both Saturday and Sunday.
Friday’s patchy fog will return Saturday morning, and forecasters predict areas of fog will linger until 10 a.m. or so. Otherwise, Islanders will see a sunny day with a high temperature near 51 degrees.
On Saturday night, the fog returns after 10 p.m. It will be an otherwise mostly clear night, with a low around 34 degrees.
Bainbridge will see more fog on some areas of the island before 10 a.m. Sunday, then the day will turn mostly sunny, with a high near 51. Fog is again in the forecast Sunday night after 10 p.m. A low temp around 34 is expected.
The fog will stick around through Monday morning, with sunny skies returning through Tuesday.
Rain reenters the picture Tuesday night, and rain remains in the forecast through Thanksgiving Day.
