Spartan basketball’s junior varsity teams endured a split decision against the Roosevelt Rough Riders late last week.

The Bainbridge girls JV basketball team stopped Roosevelt with a thrilling 42-39 win Friday in Seattle.

The BHS JV boys team finished on the short end, with the Rough Riders romping to a 65-52 victory Friday.

In other action over the weekend, the BHS boys C-Team was bested by Bishop Blanchet 70-32 Saturday in Seattle.

The Spartan girls C-Team came close, but also came up short, against the Braves, 42-36.
