To the editor:

As the parents of elementary-aged children, we are grateful to live in a community that is committed to a superior education.

This February, we will vote yes on the capital levy to rebuild the 100 Building at Bainbridge High School, which houses career and technical education, special education, and art. In addition, the current commons will move to the 100 Building and be integrated into the center of campus. They current commons will be transformed into an auditorium with seating for 350 to 400 people.

As Wilkes parents, we see firsthand how a new building can be transformative by creating space that reflects the very best practices in education and inspires learning through meaningful design. Let’s vote yes to support the capital levy and ensure we are investing in our most important asset, our children.
