Island Center Hall will host another Second Saturday community dance in the coming weeks.

The dance, hosted by Educated Feet and sponsored by the Bainbridge Island Metropolitan Park & Recreation District, will jump to a versatile DJ mix that will include music from Swing, Waltz, Foxtrot, Blues, West Coast, Night Club Two-Step, and Latin genres.

Doors will open at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 9. Admission is $10 at the door, and no pre-registration or partner is required. The event is open to singles and couples; and adults and teens. The format is dressy casual; dancers should wear shoes that are kind to the historic hall’s wood floor. Attendees are also encouraged to bring snacks to share.

A workshop mixer will kick off the dance from 7:15 to 8 p.m.; admission is free with entry fee to the dance. DJ music will follow from 8 to 10 p.m.
