The topic for the next talk in the Climate and Energy Forum series is “100 percent Clean Energy for BI by 2040.”

The series continues on Saturday, April 20 at Eagle Harbor Congregational Church. The next talk is from 10 a.m. to noon. The public is invited to come be part of a conversation to determine how the island can achieve 100 percent clean energy on Bainbridge by 2040.

There will be three speakers; Randal Samstag, Energy Sources (consulting engineer); Jason Wilkinson, Buildings (McLennan Design); and Joe Deets, Local Generation (Sunergy Systems).

A community discussion will follow.

Future forums include “Transforming transportation to 100 percent carbon free by 2050” in May, and “Preparing our Island for projected climate change” in June.
