Bainbridge Performing Arts Theatre School’s 2014 Fall Showcase, a family-friendly event showcasing talented students in grades 3-7, will be performed at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 12 and Friday, Nov. 14.
Performances open with the world premiere of “A Tale of Two Seas” by Victoria Whitlow Tuttle.
A group of young fish venture into the unknown on a dare only to find an entirely new “seadom” that has been hidden from them all these years. Much like their own home, it is masked in sadness, and the youthful adventurers must find a way to unite the two worlds and bring happiness back to the sea.
Next up is “Puttin’ on the Ritz” as sung by Rufus Wainwright, choreographed by Zandi Carlson.
It will feature performers from BPA Theatre School’s Theatre Dance program.
Concluding the show is “Marvelous” by Holly Arsenault, based on “The Snow Queen” by Hans Christian Andersen.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for seniors, youth, students, military and teachers, and may be purchased at www.bainbridgeperformingarts.org, by phone at 206-842-8569 or in person at BPA.
