The public is invited to tour the future site of the BARN facility with Bainbridge architect Johnpaul Jones. Residents who are interested in the artisan community’s new building may stop by 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, June 7 for a full tour.
Jones will lead guests through the tour where an outline of the building will be staked out with signs to show the various locations of future studios. The site is located on Three Tree Lane, off of New Brooklyn Road near the intersection with Madison Ave North.
Parking is available at the Bainbridge First Baptist Church, and in the lot adjacent to the Madison Avenue fire station. Refreshments will be provided by the BARN Kitchen Arts group.
BARN has raised $4.5 million of an estimated $7.5 million needed to build the artisan center, and is actively seeking donations for the remaining $3 million.
