That’s the latest forecast for weekend weather on Bainbridge Island from the National Weather Service in Seattle.

On Saturday, forecasters say there’s a 30 percent chance of showers, mainly before 11 a.m. The day is expected to be partly sunny, with a high near 60 degrees.

Saturday night, skies will be mostly cloudy and the overnight low will drop to around 44.

Sunday should be mostly sunny, with a high near 61. The chance of rain (30 percent) returns Sunday night, and skies will stay mostly cloudy, with a low around 47.

The chance of showers will persist through Tuesday, with mostly sunny skies coming back to the island on Wednesday.
