BHS boys shine in final golf outing

The last match of the regular season was a winner for the Bainbridge High varsity boys golf team, who bested Seattle Prep 126-119 at home.

The Oct. 9 win capped their season with an overall record of 8-2 and earned the Spartans the third-place spot in the Metro standings (tied with Ballard).

O’Dea remains top dog (10-0) and Bishop Blanchet (8-1) boasts second place.

Against SP, Ben Chapman was the best Spartan scorer, shooting 40 on the course at Wing Point Golf & Country Club.

Jasiah George shot 41, Owen Rector and Zach Cooper shot 42, Taylor Bjur shot 43, and Parker Loverich shot 44.
