The Bainbridge Spartans boys junior varsity team is hoping to exit a losing skid following three straight losses this month.

The team opened the season with a big win over Kingston, 45-27, but has struggled since.

In the team’s first Metro League matchup, Bishop Blanchet outshot the Spartans on the way to a 66-41 win.

Bainbridge then fell to unbeaten O’Dea, 87-44, and followed that game with a loss to Roosevelt, despite an improvement on offense, 66-47.

A three-game series awaits the Spartans after they return from the holiday break.

Bainbridge will play Graham Kapowsin on Friday, Dec. 27; Seattle Prep on Friday, Jan. 3; and Franklin on Saturday, Jan. 4.

The Spartans return to the Rock with a game against Chief Sealth at home on Tuesday, Jan. 7.
