The man arrested for a spree of “upskirt” voyeurism has pled guilty to two charges of voyeurism.
Authorities said Angus Andrew Leger, 32, of Bainbridge Island, entered a guilty plea to the charges during a recent court hearing. Leger is scheduled to be sentenced in Kitsap County Superior Court on April 30.
Leger was arrested on March 6 moments after he attempted to take a photo with his cellphone under the skirt of an unsuspecting teenage girl in the Rite Aid on High School Road.
The incident, however, was the latest in Leger’s string of upskirt endeavors. He told police officers that he had been taking photos of young women on the island, often under their skirts, at island businesses for about six months. Leger actively sought out girls during the last three months in order to covertly take pictures of them.
Detectives were able to identify four victims in the case. The young women were 15, 16, 17 and 22.
Leger’s cell phone and computers were confiscated as evidence during the investigation.
