A second case of 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) has been discovered in Kitsap County.

According to the Kitsap Public Health District, a second case of COVID-19 was confirmed this week.

The confirmation came from a positive test result from the state public health lab in Shoreline and was announced at 11 a.m. Tuesday by Kitsap health officials.

So far, 14 Kitsap County residents have been tested, with 10 negative results and one positive result.
