The Bainbridge Kiwanis Club and Columbia Bank’s annual shredding event has been postponed due to COVID-19.

Always scheduled for the second Saturday after the tax deadline, this year’s SHREDFEST has been rescheduled after the new tax deadline of July 15 to Saturday, July 25, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Columbia Bank, 208 High School Road NE.

All funds raised by your tax-deductible donations will further Kiwanis’ mission: “Changing the world one child and one community at a time.”

This is a great opportunity for individuals and businesses to safely dispose of sensitive documents. Discourage identity theft by bringing your tax and other personal documents to be safely and securely shredded on the spot by a commercial shredder. In the spirit of environmental stewardship, 100 percent of shredded material is recycled. Donations are tax deductible and Kiwanis will have tax receipts on site for those who choose to donate. Donations help fund scholarships for graduating high school seniors. Kiwanis funded 12 scholarships in 2019.
