Weekend weather report: Another wet one | The Bainbridge Blab

It’s going to be another rainy weekend on the Rock, according to the latest forecast for Bainbridge Island from the National Weather Service in Seattle.

Friday’s sunshine will slip behind some serious clouds by Saturday, and the day is expected to see a 50 percent chance of rain.

The high temperature is expected to top out near 63 degrees, then drop to a low around 51 Saturday night.

More rain is expected overnight (the chance of precipitation is 90 percent).

Come Sunday, more rain is likely, and the day will stay mostly cloudy, with a high near 66. (The weather folks say the chance of precipitation is 70 percent, with new precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.)

Rain will persist overnight Sunday, with patchy fog after 1 a.m.

Heading into the week, expect more rain, and a chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon on Monday.

There may be a bit of sun Tuesday, but otherwise, rain remains in the forecast through next week.
