The Bainbridge Island Chamber of Commerce has announced it is looking for a part-time interim president and CEO.
In an email newsletter sent last week, the chamber said the job “is an interim position due to the uncertainty in the economy and the reduced level of chamber operations during the COVID-19 pandemic. We anticipate the position will return to full time in the future, at which time we will consider conducting an additional candidate search.”
The announcement did not offer details on the departure of Rex Oliver, who was named as the president/CEO of the chamber in 2012.
The part-time job has a salary of $48,000.
People interested in the position must send a cover letter and resume to chair@bainbridgechamber.com by this Sunday, May 10.
