Like many businesses, Mora Ice Cream in Bainbridge Island, Poulsbo and Kingston is turning to online to sell its products.

With COVID-19 restrictions either limit or banning customers, Mora is starting an delivery service available only online called the Taste-Travel Collection.

“Our new collection intends to sweeten the days and lift the spirits of those who savor them,” co-founder Ana Orselli said in an email.

She added that in 16 years this is the first time Mora has done this type of marketing.

“We know it’s not been an easy year,” she said. “Family vacations not taken, Thanksgiving day far from friends and families, new memories put on hold, places never visited, and canceled dinners with friends that are irreplaceable.

She said the packages of different flavored ice cream will satisfy people seeking compelling at-home experiences.

Prices range from $69.95 to $89.95 for the three different packages, which include pints of four, six and eight flavors, respectively. Flavors include Chocolate Moreo, Peppermint Bark and Mango Sorbet.

The husband and wife team of Jerry Perez and Orselli began handcrafting ice cream on Bainbridge Island in 2004.
