BI vaccine providers offering first doses of Moderna, Pfizer this week

Woodward Middle School to serve as clinic this weekend

This week, the Bainbridge Island Community Pharmacy received and will provide 1,170 first doses of both Moderna and Pfizer vaccines to those who qualify under Phase 1A or 1B, TIer 1.

According to the city of Bainbridge’s COVID-19 webpage, the Moderna vaccines will be used to support a clinic at the Senior Center that will serve eligible individuals without internet access or email. Additionally, the Moderna vaccines will be used for mobile clinics that are serving adult family homes and other senior congregate living facilities on Bainbridge and in Kitsap County. If anyone is unable to visit one of the clinics in-person and needs assistance from the mobile team, email covid-vaccines@bainbridgeprepares.org.

The Pfizer vaccines will be made available at two clinics Saturday and Sunday at Woodward Middle School. Appointments fill quickly as the demand for vaccination is high while appointments are limited. The pharmacy will have some second-dose availability for Moderna and Pfizer doses as well this week. Email covid-vaccines@bainbridgeprepares.org for details.

Member Plus Family Health also received Pfizer vaccines for this week and will be administering first doses by appointment Friday, Saturday and Sunday for those eligible. For details, visit memberplusfamilyhealth.com.
