An auto accident north of the Highway 305 intersection at Sportsman Club Road just before 5:30 p.m. Monday, May 19 has snarled traffic heading north on Bainbridge Island.

Highway 305 was down to one lane of travel as emergency vehicles had the southbound lane of the highway blocked. A flagger was guiding traffic at the intersection, and Bainbridge Island police and fire units were at the scene.

The southbound lane of the highway was opened to traffic shortly after 5:30 p.m.

Travelers heading north on Highway 305 should expect delays.
