To the editor:
I love parks. But, my problem with the ballot proposal is that a property this size is going to cost a lot of money to develop and maintain, none of which is disclosed or budgeted.
This could be a significant number and really should be at least estimated and debated before we acquire land that may be unaffordable when the final bill comes due. I think we are owed a better program that gives us the actual cost, not the down payment.
