Big Star Diner reopens its doors
The restaurant at 305 Madison Ave., which went out of business as Richie’s 305 Diner, has reopened under its previous name – Big Star Diner.
The business, now owned by brothers Mark and Earl Hanson of Everett, had a silent opening recently.
The eatery specializes in homemade diner food, with some authentic Mexican dishes. It’s a family business with the brothers, who have extensive experience as restaurateurs, doing most of the cooking and two of their daughters working as servers.
Hours are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, with dinners served until about 8:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
