The topic of the next BASE lecture is “Community Wealth Building.”
The BASE (Building A Sustainable Economy) series continues at 5:30 p.m. Friday, March 13 at the Bainbridge Public Library.

The talk will be led by Ted Howard (of the Democracy Collaborative) and
India Pierce Lee (the Cleveland Foundation); two architects of the Evergreen Cooperatives project, an initiative that uses the purchasing power of local institutions to support development of worker-owned enterprises.
Moderated by Jill Bamburg, President of Bainbridge Graduate Institute at Pinchot University, the conversation will focus on the strategies behind the Evergreen Cooperatives project, including the process of catalyzing new businesses, creating green jobs and training local residents for them.
